HYDRAULIC TORQUING & STUD TENSIONING SERVICES

Hydraulic Torquing: a procedure used to remove/tighten bolts, where rotational force on a lever on a fixed axis is applied using hydraulic equipment. The procedure allows for very precise consistent tightening of studs to prevent uneven loading or stud yielding.

Stud Tensioning: The application of axial force on a fastener resulting in elongation (lengthening) of the stud(s).

Benefits:

  • Use in any application controlled bolting is required or beneficial.
  • Lessen downtime, use hydraulic wrenches to break loose stubborn studs and nuts.
  • Prevent stud yielding by over tightening.
  • Eliminate the potential of leaks due to uneven loading of the studs.
